Wonka Writing Factory

Wonka Writing Factory
Potter Elementary School
Tampa, FL

A-h-h-h-h, what a wonderful morning with the fourth grade writers at Potter Elementary School. Today’s focus—creating a moment description using vivid verbs and specific nouns. Of course, we were inspired by mentor text from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Willie Wonka left his top hat and scarf behind along with a note with apologies for not attending. (Something about a chocolate meltdown in London.)

As you can see, we took over the Media Center.

Those Potter kids love working together!
